Women show symbolic poisoning of men

USA – After the election victory of the re-elected US President Donald Trump (78), the anger is particularly great among women: many of them are now starting the “MATGA” movement, which calls for the poisoning of men TikTok videos glorified.

The fears triggered by a possible abortion ban in a second Trump term are often more than justified.

But as the New York Post reported, over the past few days, women have been posting clips on TikTok in which they offer men poisoned drinks – only symbolically, of course.

Some of these videos, which show young women poisoning a drink with a substance, have been viewed millions of times.

These clips spread under the banner of the “MATGA” movement, which was “Make Aqua Tofana Great Again” (Editor’s note. Makes Aqua Tofana great again) means.

The slogan plays on Donald Trump’s election slogan and at the same time refers to the historical poison Aqua Tofana.

This gift was used by women in the 17th century to kill violent husbands. It is estimated that at least 600 men died as a result. The gift was considered difficult to prove because it only took effect after a certain period of time.

Aqua Tofana, supposedly tasteless and undetectable after death, was usually stored in ordinary cosmetic bottles so as not to arouse the husband’s suspicions.

Some of the women do not explicitly mention Aqua Tofana in the clips, but also show “poison rings” – wearable jewelry with a small compartment said to be designed to hold a lethal dose of a poison.

This “trend” followed just a few days after that Start of the “4B Movement”. Here too, women are protesting: some are shaving their heads, others are calling for sex strikes or proving that they will forego pregnancy and children during Trump’s second term in office.
