What is Lies of P about?

Lies from P (buy now €49.94 ) is a dark action role-playing game inspired by the story of Pinocchio. The action takes place in the town of Krat, which is terrorized by mechanical puppets. As a player, you take on the role of P, a mechanical doll who searches for Geppetto and has to tell lies in order to develop his humanity. The Soulslike combines elements from Dark Souls and Bloodborne with a “lie system” where decisions influence the ending and form the character’s morale. Lies of P receives consistently positive reviews in worldwide reviews. The average rating on Metacritic is 80 percentPlayers rate it 8.3 out of 10. Just a few weeks after the release of Lies of P, the developers at Neowiz confirmed that they wanted to bring a successor to their Soulslike onto the market. In a video about the future of the game, game director Ji Won Choi mentioned a Lies of P 2 in a short sentence, fans can also look forward to further adventures in the dystopian soulslike.
