Despite a decent performance, Altenerding lost 1:3 against the top team from Ampfing. A missed penalty kick dashed the hosts’ hopes. The match report.

Altenerding – As in the first leg, SpVgg Altenerding suffered a 1:3 defeat against TSV Ampfing, so the situation in the district league continued to deteriorate for the Violets. There has been a single point from the last seven games.

The party started well, after two minutes Leart Bialli received a diagonal ball from Leonardo Tunjic, but put the ball a little too far forward so that TSV keeper Domen Bozjak could pick up the ball. Two minutes later, a Tunjic shot narrowly missed the target. For Nihad Mujkic the party was over after eleven minutes as a muscle injury forced him to retire early.

After 20 minutes there was a cold shower. When a cross from Juan Gomez Moreno was cleared, they ran into a counterattack in which Berat Uzun prevailed against both Thomas Bachmaier and Ridwan Bello in a duel before shooting into the corner with his outside instep, unstoppable for keeper Jonas Pamer. Even after falling behind, Locke’s protégés held up well, even though they lacked penetration in the attack. Ampfing hardly had any chances, but was supposed to improve before the break. After a cross, Gomez Moreno wanted to clear with his head, but brought the ball into the center, where Eyüp Tas picked up the ball and shot from twelve meters to make the score 2-0 (43′).

Second penalty is denied – Ampfing closes the bag

For the second half, coach Pedro Locke brought in fresh players with Daniel Wiskitenski and Wiam Trakuri and wanted to revive the offensive. His protégés tried their best, but the experienced defense from Ampfing didn’t allow much. After 65 minutes there was the next bad news for the home team, as Trakuri seriously injured his shoulder and had to be taken away by ambulance. A little later the referee pointed to the penalty spot after a foul by Birol Karatepe and Samuel Kronthaler. However, Michael Gartner was denied by keeper Bozjak (68′). 16 minutes before the end, the hosts were lucky because after a foul by Moreno the referee could have awarded another penalty, but the referee’s whistle remained silent.

But then the Hertl team closed the sack, after a ball from midfield, Nicolas Fritsche, who had just been substituted, appeared free in front of Pamer and safely made it 3-0 (86th). In return, Florian Wagner managed to make up for the result after a cross from Alexander Weiher, which volleyed into the corner.
