The A-Class teams can hardly wait for the winter break. While the footballers haven’t gotten enough of scoring goals so far, this time the matchday was marked by a lull. In three parties there is only one hit each.

SV Ohlstadt II
– Oberammergau ⇥1:0 (0:0)

The highlights of this game were limited to two – and in both of them an Oberammergauer was the main actor. After 63 minutes, Stefan Drewing sank a free kick directly into the Ohlstadt goal. “It was a great shot,” says Tobias Weber, trainer of the SVO reserves. “It was a real hit,” says their own coach, Markus Mayer. That was enough for the Ammertal team to win 1-0 in this party. Because their goalkeeper Korbinian Haag had a sensational reflex in the final minutes. “He does it really well,” says Mayer. “He was a bench at the back.” Otherwise, both teams offered little worth seeing. Ohlstadt came into the game slowly, Oberammergau quickly diminished after a good start. And so Weber says: “It was more or less clear: whoever scores the first goal wins.” He can live with his team’s performance, but not with the results against Oberammergau in the two duels. “Two games, zero points – and you’re equal.”

FC Megas GAP –
ASV Habach II ⇥3:0 (0:0)

Throughout the entire season, Ioannis Hristoforidis believed his team deserved to win. “Maybe a little too high,” admits the FC Megas coach, “but based on our performance in the second half, the three points rightly go to us.” Before the break, the hosts were able to thank their goalkeeper Theodoros Tegos, who was his Team kept in the game with remarkable saves. “After that we became more courageous.” The hosts took the lead when captain Milad Honar converted a penalty kick. Goal number two was worth seeing: Desbele Ghirmay chipped the ball over Habach’s goalkeeper into the far corner. Megas then concentrated on defense and waited for counterattacks. Nadin Dumitru used one of them to make it 3-0 in stoppage time.

FC Mittenwald –
1. FC Penzberg II ⇥1:3 (1:1)

Once again, FC Mittenwald’s lack of composure in front of the opponent’s goal thwarted their plans. The Isartalers were on an equal footing with their opponents Penzberg, but still lost out 1:3. “It’s really bitter and extremely unfortunate,” complains Josef Gerstmeier. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t reward us for a good performance.” Penzberg was admittedly more effective, but by no means better.” In the first leg, the FCM had not yet seen a country (0:5), this time it looked completely different. The Mittenwalders were present from the start and took the lead early on through Jan Kunze. The veteran headed a cross from player-coach Maximilian Tauwald into the net. While Philipp Häcker, Sebastian Ullrich and Fabian Rotter missed the second goal, Liridon Gjocaj equalized before the break. “The second half was similarly balanced,” explains FCM spokesman Gerstmeier. But the guests acted more cleverly. First Abdullah Selmani scored 1:2, then Altin Pestisha made everything clear with 1:3.

1. FC Garmisch-P. II –
SC Grainau ⇥ 0:3 (0:2)

The winning streak of the FC reserves is ending and Evangelios Chatzis recognizes the legitimacy of this. “Grainau wanted the win more and was more present,” admitted the FC coach after the 3-0 defeat in the neighborhood duel. His team “never” found a way into the party. For Chatzis, the logical consequence of a high-quality training week. “Something has already been indicated.” His players obviously thought that the previous successes could be repeated as desired without any additional effort. Grainau exploited mercilessly. SC coach Christoph Saller saw a confident performance from his team. “Offensively it wasn’t a fireworks display, but perhaps the best performance of the first half of the season.” After a ball deep, his footballers took the lead through Gabriel Brunner, and Tassilo Süßl increased just five minutes later. Brunner again made the final score.

SV Eschenlohe –
Farchant/Oberau ⇥ 0:1 (0:0)

In the end, the three points count. Nothing else was important for Julian Ritter and his Oberau and Farchant footballers on Sunday afternoon. The SG coach classified the tough 1-0 win at SV Eschenlohe as “relatively deserved”. The A-class leaders dominated the game for large parts of the match. But usually there was a lack of accuracy in the penalty area to get into a promising final position. SVE coach Florian Mayr was satisfied with the compact staggering of his team; he only saw his athletes “too hectic” once. One dirty ball backwards and the best offense in the league rolled. Sebastian Korthals staged an ex-Eschenloher, of all people. Lukas Böhmer, previously substituted, took the lead in the 68th minute. With the outcome of the party, Mayr had said: “A point would have been deserved.” With the last action of the day, he had to watch as his team hit the post with a free kick and lost their reward. Ritter rejoiced: “It can continue like this.”

VTA Garmisch-P. –
ESV Penzberg II ⇥ 1:0 (1:0)

“It’s a weight off your mind,” emphasized Utku Soysal after his team’s first win since September 22nd. The VTA Garmisch-Partenkirchen defeated the ESV Penzberg reserves 1-0. The VTA footballers took the lead with the first chance of the party. Engin Kournaz found the starting Saleem Bals with a pass from midfield, who stayed cool in front of the goal – the perfect start after two minutes. And the VTA stayed on the accelerator. The home team had two more great chances in the early stages. Only: the players missed the opportunities. “We actually have to score the second goal.” But Soysal’s team didn’t let anything go, which was mainly due to their solid defense. “Our chain was outstanding, we were just there.”
