The Tokio Hotel singer had said a few weeks before the celebrations that he wanted to appear in a partner costume this year, which suggested to his fans that he was planning to come with his friend. But then everything turned out differently.

In the latest episode of the podcast with brother Tom, Bill gave the simple explanation for Marc’s absence: “It’s that Marc was filming and couldn’t leave because he’s now crossing the Atlantic with Knossi.” There was quite a bit a lot of preparation – and he was also filming with the Rinos etc. That’s why it wasn’t there.”

“Well, no drama,” Tom clarifies. “Exactly, people are starting to interpret things into it again, I hate that,” says Bill. The relationship between Bill Kaulitz and Marc Eggers has only recently become public knowledge, even though it was rumored for weeks before that the two were a couple.
