Fans can’t get over the Wheel of Fortune contestant’s “hilarious” wrong answer

Wheel of FortuneThe Monday, November 11, episode of “Veteran’s Day” had fans laughing and smiling as one contestant guessed a surprising answer to a seemingly obvious riddle.

candidate Will Jordan from Connecticut faced a puzzle in Round 1 of the game show that ended up saying “Give Yourself A Round Of Applause,” but he was still missing nine letters, including the first three of the answer.

Jordan told the host confidently Ryan Seacrest“I’d like to solve it,” but instead of giving the correct answer, he advised, “Treat yourself to a round of sausage.”

His competitor, Kitina Thomasthen took over the correct answer, but Seacrest gave Jordan credit and said, “Although, Will, I kind of like your answer better.” That sounds better than just clapping now.”

Fans also liked Jordan’s alternative response: One viewer shared a clip of the memorable moment and wrote: “I’ve always been jealous of each of you who can treat yourself to a ROUND OF SAUSAGE almost every day. #WheelofFortune 😜.”

“One of the most hilarious failed puzzle solving in #WheelofFortune history happened tonight 🤦‍♂️😆 #Sausage,” tweeted another fan of the show.

Jordan’s iconic moment quickly went viral, with other reactions including “I’ve had two drinks and am sobbing with laughter,” “An absolute all-timer here,” and “This will haunt this guy for the rest of his life 😂😅😂.”

Another Jordan supporter stated: “This Will made at least two more absurd assumptions tonight. My husband didn’t come to #WheelOfFortune to win money. He has become a legend. Respect.”

Jordan, a police officer and Coast Guard veteran, spoke after the show Maggie Sayak about the moment and joked: “I’m sure I’ll have sausages in my locker and in the police car when I get back.”

The episode ended with the third contestant Chantel Toran took the win with a total prize of $13,000.
