The rumors are true: Fortnite OG is returning permanently in the future! You can’t just pay a temporary visit to the original island in the battle royale hit.

Epic Games has now actually announced via social media that the original map of the battle royale hit will not only be resaleable, but will also be permanently preserved in the future. The starting signal for the permanent comeback of Fortnite OG is said to have been given on December 6th, 2024.

This means that another detail from last week’s leak is also quite likely: The ten seasons of the first Fortnite chapter are gradually coming back; It remains to be seen whether the speculation about a monthly rotation of the individual seasons will come true.
