Arson and car break-in at the XXL sports center in Duisburg

Duisburg. In Duisburg-Hüttenheim, a BMW burst into flames and another’s window was smashed. Is there a connection? This is known.

The criminal police are investigating in Duisburg-Hüttenheim after a BMW was set on fire and another BMW was damaged.

The unknown perpetrators set fire to a BMW 4-series parked on Schulz-Knaudt-Straße at around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening (November 12th). Witnesses noticed the flames and alerted the police and fire department. When the emergency services arrived, residents had already put out the fire.

About half an hour earlier, one or more unknown people had broken the passenger window of a 7 Series BMW just about 600 meters away. The vehicle is in the parking lot of the XXL Sportcenter Am Neuen Angerbach. As far as we know, nothing was stolen from the car.
