25 years of Kit: Colorful lanterns and happy celebrations in Öhringen!

The kit association – family day care for children – celebrated its 25th anniversary in the Hohenlohe district in a colorful spectacle. Brightly colored lanterns paraded from the swimming pool in Öhringen to the Tiele Winkler School, while a brass quartet from the TSG music band sang the cheerful lantern songs. Around 140 family and childcare workers took part in this celebration, which honored the association’s long history and successes. According to a report from meine.stimme.de, the founding of the childminders’ association in 1999 was highlighted, which has maintained close cooperation with the district ever since.

The celebrations took place in the auditorium, where the head of the youth welfare office, Claudia Müller, emphasized the development of the association and the importance of day care for the region. Several childcare workers who have been working in the Kitz groups for over a decade were particularly honored. The first groups were founded in 2012 and 2013, which underlines the long-standing stability and success of the club.

A celebration full of joy and community

The atmosphere during the celebration was one of joy and community. Children did gymnastics over the large steps in the auditorium while the tables were overflowing with sandwiches, cakes and pretzels. The children’s punch spread a fruity, spicy scent that heralded the new Advent season. When Paul the clown appeared with his little catastrophes and included the children in his stories, the laughter and joy in the air was palpable. The children even helped him find his friend the flea, which made for many amusing moments.

After an evening full of encounters and happy conversations, the auditorium emptied again. But the memories of the celebration will remain. “Looking back, 25 years of Kit have passed just as quickly and diversely,” said the managing directors Kerstin Schröpfer and Ingrid v. wormb. They are optimistic about the future and emphasize that the association is still ready to support families with childcare.

A look into the future

The importance of child day care in the Hohenlohe district cannot be overestimated. kit has made it its mission to fulfill the legal right to a childcare place and to actively support cities and communities in doing so. This is particularly important at a time when the demand for childcare places is constantly increasing. As Facebook reports, supporting families with child care is a central task that will continue to be the focus in the coming years.

With a strong network and a committed community, you can look to the future with optimism. The next few years promise exciting developments and continued valuable support for families in the Hohenlohe district. The anniversary was not only a look back, but also a look ahead to what is to come.
