The Warm Springs Museum announces awards for the 31st Annual Warm Springs Tribal and Youth Expo

WARM SPRINGS, Ore. (KTVZ) – The Museum in Warm Springs has announced its 31st Annual Awards. Annual Exhibition for Tribal Members and Youth in Warm Springs” announced. This popular annual juried exhibition showcases the immense talent and artistic excellence of Warm Springs’ adult and youth tribal members.

The exhibition can be seen until Saturday, February 8, 2025.

The exhibition is curated by Angela Anne Smith (Warm Springs, Yakama, Nez Perce and Diné), curator and exhibition coordinator of the Warm Springs Museum. This year’s juror is Coralee Popp, board member and director of the Art Adventure Gallery in Madras and a member of the Board of Regents of the Museum at Warm Springs.

Selected artworks are for sale, with a 20% commission going to the museum.

About the Warm Springs Museum The Warm Springs Museum opened its doors to the public on March 14, 1993 and celebrated its 30th anniversaryTh Anniversary in 2023. Built to professional standards of the Smithsonian Institution, the museum’s mission is to preserve, promote and share the traditions, cultural and artistic heritage of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Oregon. The museum’s regular opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
