Nick Saban advises couple on ‘College GameDay’ marriage proposal

Jess Sims asked Texas A&M fan Kyle a simple question during “College GameDay” on ESPN on Saturday.

“How do you feel about playing Texas?”

Fans responded, “You know, that’s a fantastic question, but I have a better question: ‘Erica, will you marry me?'”

And just like the popular college football pregame show became an engagement party.

Meanwhile, Erica was shocked. Before she was proposed to, she expressed her loyalty to Texas A&M.

“My mother has always worked here,” she said. “I got two degrees here. I work here. My daughter is in the class of 2042 and it’s just the best place for it.”

After she answered yes to the big question, ESPN’s Rece Davis asked Nick Saban if he had any advice for the young couple.

“We’re 53 years old, so we have coffee cups,” Saban said. “Miss Terry bought us coffee cups. My coffee cup says “Mr. Right.” I said that sounds good. But her coffee cup says, ‘Mrs. Never wrong.'”
