Several videos have emerged on social media showing them leaving their home around midnight. When the media reached Nikita’s parents’ house in Jaunpur on Wednesday, her brother and mother had refused to talk to them.

Jaunpur SP said there was a routine police operation in the Khowa Mandi area of the district which was required to maintain law and order.

Meanwhile, Kotwali police station inspector-in-charge Mithilesh Mishra said the police had no instructions to arrest Nisha Singhania and others, stop them from leaving their homes or place them under house arrest.

According to her relatives, while her family lives in Jaunpur, Nikita Singhania stays in Delhi with her son and works there. She married Subhash in April 2019 and filed an FIR against husband Subhash and his in-laws in 2022, accusing them of dowry harassment.
