Hans Zimmer and his film music

Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer presents his world of film music in a rousing show, recorded in Krakow in 2024. For the European tour “The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension” he has rearranged his most popular soundtracks for a large orchestra, a choir and soloists. Zimmer is on stage himself, which makes the concert a real highlight. “The World of Hans Zimmer” can be seen on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:15 p.m. on ZDF and in the ZDFmediathek.

The most famous soundtracks from world-famous films such as “Dune: Part Two”, “The Lion King”, “Gladiator” and “Interstellar” are presented against an impressive backdrop. Participating: the Odessa Orchestra & Friends, the Nairobi Chamber Chorus and many soloists such as the Australian singer Lisa Gerrard, the South African singer, producer and composer Lebo M, the Austrian-based violinist Rusanda Panfili, the Cuban-Argentinian pianist Eliane Correa or the Venezuelan-born flautist Pedro Eustache. Gavin Greenaway conducted the Odessa Orchestra & Friends.
