The actress speaks openly about the couple’s decision to go to a therapist together.

The ‘Love Doesn’t Take a Vacation’ actress and the Good Charlotte rocker are parents to five-year-old Raddix and eight-month-old Cardinal. According to the actress, therapy is an important part of the couple’s life.

Speaking on her brother-in-law Joel Madden’s ‘Artist Friendly’ podcast, the Hollywood beauty revealed: “Therapy is a big thing in our family, thank God. We depend on it, so you have this obligation to work on it.”

Cameron reveals that therapy led her to consider the following questions: “Why didn’t it work?” How can I make it work? What is my part? What is the other person’s job?” The 52-year-old added: “Let’s be confident and approach the next attempt with a little better equipment to hopefully come out with a different result.”

The blonde believes her willingness to undergo therapy sheds a positive light on her marriage. “Even if you’re mad at each other and don’t want to see each other anymore, it’s still a 100 percent commitment to the marriage and the relationship and to sorting things out in the family.” “If it’s not 100 percent, it works “It just doesn’t work when a person has a deficit,” she explains.
