Mountain and nature rescue service Bad Radkersburg: Rakowitz confirmed with 100 percent

The Bad Radkersburg mountain and nature rescue service carries out a variety of tasks for the natural area in and around Bad Radkersburg. In the new election, the proven board was unanimously confirmed.

BAD RADKERSBURG. The mountain and nature rescue teams keep a close eye on our natural area. Regarding the organization, there will be a new regulation with a resolution in April 2024. The new law creates the possibility of membership without having to carry out any associated supervisory activities.

Supporting members can get involved in many ways: for example, participate in species protection projects, carry out maintenance measures in protected areas or participate in public relations work.

The Bad Radkersburg operations center has a very active force. This is responsible for the communities of Bad Radkersburg, Halbenrain, Klöch and Tieschen. It has 14 active members.

Proven team continues

Due to the new mountain and nature rescue law, all operational locations in Styria had to hold new elections. This also happened in the Radkersburg operations center. The entire team around operations manager Ursula Rakowitz was unanimously elected for another five years.

The deputy head of operations is Gerlinde Schober, the cashier is Erwin Bernhard, the secretary is Heinrich Wilde, his deputy is Thomas Weber. Amalia Kohlfürst starts as auditor, her deputy is Leonhard Ladenhauf.
