Christmas family dispute ended in police action

In Bad Belzig, a dispute between two married couples escalated. In the end, two police officers were even injured.

Bad Belzig (dpa/bb) – A family dispute escalated on Boxing Day in Bad Belzig. At first, the “angry wife” shouted and attacked her partner with cooking utensils, a police spokesman said. She injured him slightly.

When the police officers who were called arrived on site, they too were attacked by the woman. According to police, two officers suffered minor injuries and were insulted. The woman was temporarily taken into police custody. She is now being investigated for grievous bodily harm, resistance to law enforcement officers and insults. It was initially unclear why the woman jumped like that.
