The influence of high pressure will continue on St. Stephen’s Day, so calmer weather is in sight. As things currently stand, there will be little change until New Year’s Eve, only a weak low-level extension may temporarily bring some precipitation. However, significantly milder air masses reach the Alpine region at higher altitudes, and in the lowlands the tendency to fog and high fog increases again.
