Seasonally cool temperatures on Thursday with a chance of rain over the next few days

(EXACT WEATHER) – Good Thursday morning! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a great start to Hanukkah.

Thursday starts off cool with temperatures around 30°C.

According to the weather forecast, it will remain dry and calm, with increasing clouds until today. Expect seasonally cool weather to continue today, with highs in the 50s. Perfect weather for the little ones who might want to try out their new bikes, scooters and new kicks!

Clouds will not produce rain today, but we will see the chance of rain gradually increase Friday and into the weekend.

Friday will be cloudy and cool, with a few light showers throughout the day. High temperatures will rise above 40°C again, meaning you may need to add an extra layer at the end of the working week.

On Friday there could be brief patchy freezing rain at the highest elevation in the mountains. Very light to no ice buildup, so that won’t be a big problem! Just be careful when commuting on some of the elevated surfaces there, such as bridges and overpasses, on Friday.

The weekend will become increasingly unsettled as a slow-moving cold front approaches. Scattered showers and possibly a few storms are expected on Saturday, with more widespread rainfall on Sunday.

The weekend will be more restless, but also milder. High temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be in the high 60s.

There will be another cold front on New Year’s Eve that could bring a scattered shower or two, but we’re leaning toward drier weather for New Year’s Day. Temperatures will be in the high 50s and 60s on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day!
