Iron Man #3 Proves Tony Stark Is Powerful Even Without Technology – Comic Book Movies and Superhero Movie News

In the movie Iron Man 3 Tony Stark claimed that he was silent Iron Man even without “all my tricks and toys”. Because despite all the super suits and technology he has invented, his brilliant mind is his greatest weapon. This point is made clear in Iron Man #3 by Spencer Ackerman and Julius Ohta.

In the current storyline, Tony Stark faces a triple threat. Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM) and Roxxon Energy Corporation have teamed up in a hostile takeover of Stark Industries. At the same time, Tony found himself faced with a new iron dealer with magical powers who used his technology against him. Denied his usual legal and magical resources, Tony turned to the allies he remained on the board of Stark Industries to scuttle the deal.

Unfortunately, Roxxon forestalled Iron Man’s requests to avoid working with the evil corporation. To that end, they sweetened the deal by offering immortality to any manager who voted to approve the deal. This would be done through a silent partner from “a higher plane of existence.” Unfortunately, greed won out and the deal was approved just before the silent partners were revealed to be the demonic masters of Doctor Druid and Belasco.

Disarmed, but by no means powerless, Iron Man asked if he could speak directly to the silent partners. When the communication channels were open, Tony pointed out that every time he had fought against AIM, Roxxon and Iron Monger before, he had emerged victorious. He asked them to compare his proven track record with that of their lackeys. The silent partners agreed that it was low risk and withdrew their support for the merger.

Unfortunately for the disloyal board members, the terms of their agreement with Belasco declared that their souls would be forfeited if the deal fell through. They begged Iron Man for help, even though they had previously turned against Tony Stark. Tony proposed a new deal, offering to win back the souls of the board in exchange for their resignations and shares.

Once this was done, Tony offered Stark Industries the supply of the anti-magic metal Mysterium in exchange for the lost souls. The demons agreed, the deal was made, and Tony was back in control of his company and technology. This proved once again that Tony Stark is still Iron Man even without his armor and assets.
