Keep track of your calorie intake

When losing weight, you should keep an eye on your daily calorie intake. To do this, create a weekly plan in the “Healthy Weight Loss” app in which your meals are recorded. If you consume fewer calories than your body burns, this is called a calorie deficit – and you will lose weight. It is important that you set realistic goals. In order to lose weight healthily, a moderate deficit of around 300 to 500 calories per day is recommended. A healthy pace for losing weight is around 0.5 to one kilo per week.

Losing weight requires a lot of self-discipline and patience. This makes it all the more important to be proud of the interim goals – and also to be happy about the small successes. Cécile and Laura are at least overjoyed after the challenge!

Cécile has lost eight kilos: “Now I don’t actually have to lose any more weight. But I want to keep my weight.” Laura, who has lost seven kilos, is also motivated to stick with it: “After three months, I re-evaluate and see what there is still to do.”
