Police officers catch suspected thieves in the old town center

Police officers caught two suspected thieves in front of a shop in Waren’s old town center on Monday afternoon. The police announced this on Friday. Accordingly, the man and woman had previously stolen several cosmetic products from a drugstore. A store detective alerted the police.

Officers found the merchandise and additional drugs

According to police, the detective followed the suspects to the center, where the man and woman went into a store. “When she came out again, a search was waiting for her,” said the police. The 33-year-old man was found with stolen goods worth around 20 euros from the drugstore.

According to the police, the officers found and seized drugs in powder form from the 38-year-olds. Both are now being investigated on charges of shoplifting and the woman is also being investigated on charges of violating the Narcotics Act.
