Further vacancy in the town hall gallery: fashion store leaves the shopping center

The Rathaus-Galerie is struggling with numerous vacancies. Another business has now said goodbye to the shopping center.

Hagen – The town hall gallery in Hagen has to cope with repeated business closures. It wasn’t until the middle of the year that a perfumery in the shopping center closed its doors forever. The next closure followed shortly before Christmas. There is now one less men’s clothing store in Hagen.

Just a few days before Christmas there was another vacancy in the town hall gallery: the “Jack & Jones” chain closed its location in the Hagen shopping center. The Danish fashion chain specializes in men’s clothing. How to die Westfalenpost Reportedly, craftsmen expanded the facility on December 18th and cleared out the shop. A short time later, even the writing above the entrance had disappeared.

In addition to the “Jack & Jones” fashion shop, there is currently another vacant property in the shopping center. Loud Westfalenpost has been empty in the Tchibo store for some time. The branch has been closed since the beginning of November due to water damage. Center manager Philip Stabenow told the Westfalenpost stated that no specific date has yet been set for the reopening of the Tchibo branch. But you don’t have to worry about further vacancies here. The drying phase after the water damage is currently underway.

In the Volme-Galerie, another shopping center in Hagen, things are going better – at least that’s what some of the new openings can tell. A cheap discount store opened there in June 2024. A short time later, an Asian restaurant opened.
