Call of Duty x Squid Game Collaboration Releases January 3rd – Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Activision has just confirmed that the Call of Duty x Squid Game collaboration will release on January 3rd, coinciding with the recent release of Squid Game Season 2 on Netflix. Players can look forward to a wave of exciting content, including Operator skins inspired by the series’ red jumpsuits and the enigmatic frontman, weapon blueprints and limited-time modes.

One mode teased in the collaboration trailer is a Call of Duty version of the cult game Red Light, Green Light. Players must make their way across a field lane and freeze in place to avoid elimination when “red light” is called. While all details are still under wraps, the crossover promises several bundles in the in-game store, offering fans the opportunity to equip their Operators with Squid Game cosmetics.

The timing of the collaboration is perfect for fans of both franchises. Squid Game Season 2, which debuted on Netflix on December 26, ushers in a new chapter of deadly competition and sets the stage for more thrills in 2025 with the series’ final season.
