Call of Duty Black Ops 6: Squid game crossover is coming in a few days

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a shooter from Activision and Treyarch that was released on October 25, 2024. After about two months, the publisher finally announces the first crossover event. And Activision has teamed up with Netflix and is bringing you the heroes of the South Korean drama series Squid Game up close.

Skins, Squid game modes and more

The games begin on January 3, 2025. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gets support from Squid Game 2. The crossover offers fresh content for Black Ops 6 and Warzone while also celebrating the launch of Squid Game’s second season on Netflix. In a new trailer you can see all the innovations that this collaboration brings with it.

At the beginning of December 2024, Activision already whispered to us that a first crossover event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 would soon be coming up. Now the time has come.

“You have the green light. The games are coming soon,” the video description says. “Dive into Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone on January 3rd with new Squid Game Operators, weapon blueprints, limited-time modes and more.

You don’t have to wait long for the new content either. In addition to new operators and weapon blueprints, there are also new modes inspired by the Netflix series. Squid Game is about an artistic game show in which the participating children’s games have to survive with a cruel twist in order to get a huge pot of money at the end.

For the operators, we see the participants’ iconic green sports suits as well as some of the characters behind the game show. We also recognize the scary doll from the first Squid Game game “Red Light, Green Light”. You know, the game where players have to cover a manageable distance, but at a certain signal they have to stand still until they move on.

You currently have double experience until December 30, 2024.
