Pius Pasche favorite on the Four Hills Tournament

Since Sven Hannawald’s (50) triumph in 2002, Germany has been waiting for a Four Hills Tournament winner. Can Pius Paschke end the series of bankruptcy?

In the current World Cup, Paschke is ahead of the competition. Before the 73rd edition of the Four Hills Tournament, no jumper had collected as many points as the Munich jumper.

After five World Cup stops, the 34-year-old is at the top of the overall standings. Single successes in Lillehammer (Norway), Ruka (Finland), Wisla (Poland) and the double success in Titisee-Neustadt (Germany) give hope for the golden tour eagle.

Paschke, who celebrated his first World Cup victory last year at the age of 33, is currently on cloud nine: “It’s crazy what’s going on here.” Will he also fly away from everyone with his winning streak at the Four Hills Tournament?

In addition to the famous golden eagle, the overall winner of the tour will also receive a bonus of 100,000 Swiss francs (around 107,000 euros).
