Basketball: Niners vs. MBC – time for a changing of the guard?

For the Weißenfels team, a black series of eight defeats in eight games against Chemnitz is set to end. “It’s been a long time since we defeated Chemnitz,” MBC center John Bryant also knows. The 2.1 meter man has been playing in Weißenfels since 2022. He himself was never allowed to cheer against Chemnitz. The last MBC victory came from the ProA and was almost eight years ago; the “Wolves” won in March 2017. But Bryant is also sure: “Now is the time. We can win with this team.”

And MBC shooting guard Michael Devoe is also confident that the MBC can win in Chemnitz and against the strong Niners at home: “Our self-confidence is very good. “We are difficult to defeat,” says the 25-year-old American. “If we get our energy up and play well together, I expect a lot from us.”
