The Cowboys star has a bizarre “scoreboard” response to the loss to the Eagles

Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons had an interesting attitude after his team was defeated 41-7 by the Eagles on Sunday.

Without the scoreboard, the Cowboys might have won the game.

“They had two big runs and three good deep shots,” Parsons told reporters after the game. “Otherwise, we made sure they earned it. Take the scoreboard away, it was about five plays that decided this game.”

Sunday’s game was never close and the Dallas defense couldn’t stop Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who had 167 yards on 31 carries and became the ninth player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season. The Cowboys’ offense was also limited to a single touchdown.

With the win, the Eagles secured the NFC East title and secured second place in the NFC. They are seeking their second Super Bowl appearance in three years.

“It’s cool, I’m not going to downplay it,” Barkley said. “But like I said, at the end of the day, you won’t be remembered as the 2024 NFC East Division champion. I’m happy, it’s my first game with a hat and t-shirt. To be honest, I didn’t even know that was the case. I’m happy to be a part of it and we did it as a team. But we all know what the goal is.”
