Heart attack at 37: Ex-MLB star Jaime dies | sport

In the middle of life…

Former MLB pitcher Juan Jaime is dead. The baseball star from the Dominican Republic died of a heart attack at the age of 37. This is what the “New York Post” reports

Jaime’s path in the MLB was long and winding. Thrown back by numerous injuries, he only made his breakthrough late.

In 2012 he signed a contract with the Atlanta Braves, but they initially left him on the farm team. It wasn’t until 2014/15 that he was brought up to the MLB team.

Despite good approaches, he was only traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers after one season. There he was sent straight to the farm team.

He then worked in Japan, Mexico and Colombia, among others, before ending his career in 2024. On December 27th he suffered a fatal heart attack.
