At the start of the early access phase, a brand new war sim catapulted itself to the top of the Steam charts – the community seems to be very interested in the tactical strategy battle Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age. You can watch the trailer above.

Sea Power launched strongly on Steam

The tactical war simulation took place on November 12th Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age on Steam in its early access phase heralded – and the start is happy, because the initial feedback is positive and the placement in the Steam charts is impressive. Until November 26, 2024, the strategy game costs 44.09 euros on the PC platform instead of 48.99 euros (view on Steam).

Anyone who likes to play complex and realistic war simulations will find a new genre favorite in Sea Power various fictional conflicts during the Cold War can play through.

There are several exciting locations and different individual missions available to you, among other things more than 150 naval units and 60 aircraft models available. A campaign is scheduled to be added to the game in 2025.

The development team behind Sea Power has made a name for itself with similar games, including the popular Cold Waters – and after the first 110 reviews it is on Steam their latest strategy hit with a very positive review.

Steam charts: Strategy sim attacks in the top 10

Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age appeared in the Steam bestsellers straight into second place at the time of release before. This means that only Farming Simulator 25, which is traditionally in demand especially in Germany, comes in ahead of it. Other well-known new releases such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 or Planet Coaster 2 have to register at the back.
