French Society of Emergency Medicine

The French Society of Emergency Medicine (SFMU) aims to encourage the development of clinical research, educational and scientific tools in order to improve the quality of care for patients treated in an emergency facility.

In this context, the University Hospital Federation Improving Emergency Care (FHU IMPEC), coordinated by Prof. Freund, plays and will play a crucial role in the development and conduct of clinical research projects in emergency medicine.

The SFMU strongly supports this structure which will ultimately help to improve emergency care.

The diversity of research topics allows for the involvement of all actors in emergency medicine: from doctors to nurses, from management to the study of human factors and, of course, the care of critical patients.

The SFMU welcomes the partnership and interaction between our two structures.
